On The Green

- Golf shirts must have collars and remain tucked in at all times
- Khakis or Bermuda shorts are permitted on the course
- Gentleman must wear hats with the bill facing forward, at all times
- The following items are not permitted anytime: tank tops, halter tops, tennis shorts, mini shorts, cut-off trousers, bathing suits, bare feet, metal spikes, and denim pants.

In The Clubhouse

The following policies pertains solely to the clubhouse and club events:

- Denim must be in "good repair" exemplifying the standards of Del Paso Country Club
- All shirts including polo-style golf shirts, as well as, dress and casual shirt with tails, must be tucked in (men).
- Hawaiian or Designer shirts designed to worn outside of trousers (square bottom shirts) may be worn as designed in the clubhouse.
- Collared shirts are required at all times for men
- Men's hats are not allowed inside the clubhouse in any capacity, including walking through the clubhouse.
- The following are not permitted at anytime: Tennis, short shorts or cut off trousers, bathing suits, bare feet, sport jerseys, tee shirts, halter tops and tube tops. Any denim exhibiting holes, rips, tears, tatters or frays; including hand written messages, pictures or inappropriate messages.

Clubhouse & Fitness Center:

Cellular phone usage is limited to the locker rooms, restrooms, parking lot and private events paying a room fee.  

Non-Verbal / Non-Audio (texting/email) use of technology is permitted with discretion and good judgment in all areas of the club.  

Use of radio, stereo or audio systems is not allowed in clubhouse unless previously approved by management.  

Golf Course & Practice Facilities:

The indiscriminate use of cellular phones on the golf course during play is inconsistent with, and a distraction from, a pleasurable round of golf. Consideration for fellow golfers is paramount and reflects the quality of the Club’s Membership.

Recognizing, however, the occasional necessary and critical communication needs of the Members while on the course, the following rules apply:  
1. The use of cellular phones is discouraged.
2. The cellular phone shall always be on the silent mode.
3. The cellular phone shall only be used in urgent situations.
4. The use of the cellular phone shall not delay or interfere with the pace of play.
5. All members of a foursome must consent prior to the commencement of the round, that members of the foursome may use their cellular phones in urgent circumstances.  

The use of cellular phones in the practice areas (i.e., practice putting green, driving range, short game areas, near and around tees and greens adjacent to the clubhouse, #1 tee, #18 green, #9 green and #10 tee) is strictly prohibited.

What is the expected pace of play?
Acceptable pace of play on the golf course is defined as no more than 4 hours and 15 minutes for 18 holes.  

Can a guest use the range and practice facilities?
Guests may only use the range and practice areas if they are with a member and playing golf that day.  

What is the expected bunker and course care?
Before leaving a bunker, a player should carefully fill, smooth, and rake over all holes and footprints made by player. Rakes should be placed at the low end of the bunker with the head of the rake inside the bunker as far forward as possible so just the handle protrudes from the bunker. Enter and exit the bunker at the lowest point even though that may not be the closest entry point to your ball. Properly restore divots and ball marks in accordance with USGA standards.  

How many times a year can a resident guest play?
Resident guests may not be guests on the golf course more often than once per month, regardless of whether it was a different member who invited them (excluding tournament play). Please check with pro shop if there are any questions regarding guest eligibility.  

What is the music policy?
Practice Facility: To provide the best practice environment for all members and guests, amplified music is not allowed on the practice tee, short game area or putting green. Music is permitted at the practice facility or putting green ONLY WITH THE USE OF HEADPHONES.  

Golf Course: Members may listen to music via personal portable speakers if the volume of the music does not allow it to be heard by other groups on the course. In keeping with the etiquette and courtesy of the game, please consult other members of your group before turning on any music and at shared greens and tee box locations or intersected areas with other members, volume shall be muted.  

NOTE: Please remain aware of your surroundings while listening to music, particularly when using headphones.  

What type of shoes/spikes may be worn on the golf course and practice facilities?

Del Paso Country Club is a soft-spike facility. 

 

Are there restrictions on golf cart usage?

Only licensed drivers are permitted to operate a golf cart on the golf course. No more than two players shall ride in a golf cart, and unless the cart is specially equipped, no more than two golf bags shall be carried on a golf cart.
